It with special thanks and pride that we acknowledge some special individuals,
which have influenced the way in which the Noshan Group was formed, and
its principals are based. With their experience, enthusiasm, positive
attitudes and support, it has been invaluable for a pair of entrepreneurs
to carry out the climb for successfully launching their first "Start
Up" Business.
Not all the individuals wished to be acknowledged on the web. However,
we do want to say that with the friendships that we have formed with these
excellent people who give their time to support us, not only in our business
life but also in our personal growth, the future can only go one way,
more success and growth.

John Guy
John's focus is on leadership training and this is based on over 30 years
of professional and practical experience. His career has led him to develop
some unique and empowering techniques for personal development based on
the conclusion that effective and good leaders are men and women of courage,
honour and service.
John is not into fads, as he knows what works. He grew up on the Northwest
Frontier; he fought in Vietnam as a forward scout in the SAS; he led the
toughest warriors on earth, the Gurkhas; he lived with Stone Age tribes
in PNG. From these varied cultures he learned the meaning of courage,
honour, gentleness and service.
He has a degree from the University of Adelaide majoring in Psychology
and Philosophy. He has a postgraduate qualification in management and
leadership from the Australian Command, Fort Queenscliff, Victoria.
John and his wife, Micheline set up "Bush Ventures" in 1985
"to develop self knowledge, self reliance and self esteem through
competence in being one with the bush". The initial focus was on
youth as John and Micheline were alarmed at a youth suicide rate that,
per annum, was seen to be about 10x that of Australians fatalities in
Vietnam. Courses for schools, youth at risk, disabled and adults were
developed and implemented. The method involved experiential learning in
lifetime skills with unusual tasks being presented in unfamiliar circumstances
using an Australian Pioneer ambience in the wilderness within the boundaries
of safety, mateship, being fair dinkum and having a go.
Since 1994, to meet an increased demand for leadership and personal development
training among corporate clients, John has developed indoor training and
workshops centered on the lessons and principles set by Nature.
